Wellbeing
At our school, student wellbeing and learning are deeply connected. Children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and valued, which is why creating a caring, inclusive environment is central to everything we do. We want every student to feel confident, connected, and ready to learn each day.
Supporting each child’s mental, social‑emotional, social, and physical wellbeing is part of everyday school life. Our approach is proactive, inclusive, and built on strong relationships with students and their families. When students feel secure and understood, they are better able to thrive—both in the classroom and in their daily lives.
Our Wellbeing Approach
We take a whole‑school approach to wellbeing, ensuring every student has access to the support they need.
This includes:
- Safe, Inclusive Classrooms - our teachers create welcoming, respectful and inclusive learning environments where every child feels they belong. Students are encouraged to express themselves, build positive relationships, and develop confidence in their abilities.
- Strong Relationships - we believe that meaningful relationships are the foundation of wellbeing. Our staff take the time to truly get to know each child—their strengths, interests, challenges, and goals. We work closely with families to ensure students feel supported both at school and at home.
- Proactive Support - wellbeing is not just about responding to challenges—it’s about building skills that help students flourish. We embed social‑emotional learning, resilience, and positive behaviour strategies into everyday school life.

Working Together With Families
We know that wellbeing is strongest when schools and families work together. We value open communication and encourage parents and carers to reach out whenever they have questions or concerns. By partnering closely with families, we ensure every student receives consistent, compassionate support.
Helping Every Student Thrive
Our goal is simple: to help every student feel safe, supported, and ready to succeed. By nurturing wellbeing every day, we empower students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally—building the confidence and resilience they need for school and for life.
