Bell Times and Attendence
Our Bell Times
Neville Street is closed to traffic from Monday to Friday between 8am - 4pm. This allows for the safe passage of our students between our two school sites. The hours of operation align with the school safety zone times.
Attendance
Students are expected to attend school every day, whether it's the first or last day of term, a Monday or Friday, or a day set aside for a sports carnival, excursion or incursion.
Regular attendance brings real benefits, supporting continuous learning, helping students build friendships, and enhancing their wellbeing through access to support and a high-quality education.
My child is running late
It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact our front office
All students must be accompanied by a parent or carer to the front office to record their arrival if arriving after the 9:20am bell.
If your child is sick or absent, please provide a reason for the absence via School Bytes(opens in new window).
My child needs to leave early?
If you need to collect your child early from school, it's essential that you enter this absence into School Bytes (opens in new window) before arriving to collect them:
- Go to the Attendance heading or icon in School Bytes
- Go to Planned Absence, select Create, and enter the required details (please state the reason for early leave, e.g. specialist appointment (state which type) or another reason in detail)
This will ensure your child is in the office ready and waiting for when you arrive.
Please do your best to schedule appointments outside of school hours, though we know this isn't always possible.
