Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school events include:
  • Orientation days for new students support a smooth transition by helping students and families become familiar with the school and meet staff.
  • Sports carnivals promote participation, teamwork and a healthy, active lifestyle through a range of athletic events.
  • NSW Public Education Week Open Day invites families to visit classrooms, celebrate learning and connect with the school community.
  • Harmony Week and NAIDOC Week celebrate cultural diversity and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures through whole-school activities.
  • Book Week promotes a love of reading through engaging activities such as dress-up days and shared texts.
  • Fathering Project events strengthen family connections through shared experiences and community engagement.
  • STEAM Challenge days provide hands-on opportunities for students to apply problem-solving skills across science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
  • Grandparents Day welcomes special visitors to share in learning and celebrate their role in students’ lives.
  • High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) programs extend students through targeted learning opportunities that challenge and develop their strengths.
  • Excursions and incursions enrich learning by connecting classroom content with real-world experiences and expert knowledge.
  • Performances, concerts or school productions showcase student talent and build confidence through the creative arts.
  • Fundraising, charity and community events encourage students to contribute to their community and support meaningful causes.
  • Formal award assemblies, such as our Celebration of Learning, recognise student achievement, effort and growth.
  • Graduation and other celebrations mark important milestones and celebrate students’ learning journeys.
