Our school leaders
Our school leaders guide and support both teachers and students with care and vision. They nurture a positive, inclusive school culture where every child is valued, encouraged and empowered to learn, grow, and thrive.
Mrs Debbie Hunter - Principal
Mrs Hunter leads Oatley Public School by fostering a positive, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment. She champions each student's growth, and ensures that they have a sense of belonging and feel valued and cared for. Mrs Hunter also prioritises teacher professional development whilst building strong partnerships with families and the wider community to create a vibrant and supportive school culture.
Mrs Lauren Edwards - Assistant Principal
Mrs Edwards leads the Early Stage 1 (Kindergarten) and Stage 1 (Year 1 and 2) teams. She understands the importance of explicitly teaching foundational skills and guides her K-2 team to ensure that every student's first three years of school are positive. Mrs Edwards is also responsible for our school Strategic Direction 2 in wellbeing.
Mrs Angela Rozmeta - Rel. Assistant Principal
Mrs Rozmeta leads the Stage 2 (Year 3 and 4) teams. She is a passionate leader who nurtures a positive and engaging learning environment, inspiring both students and staff to reach their full potential. Mrs Rozmeta is dedicated to fostering collaboration, innovation, and wellbeing, ensuring every student thrives and feels valued in our school community. She is responsible for our school Strategic Direction 1 in literacy and numeracy.
Mrs Joanne Gadaleta - Assistant Principal
As our Stage 3 (Year 5 and 6) Assistant Principal, Mrs Gadaleta champions academic excellence and personal growth for all students. She plays a key role in supporting students' smooth transition to high school, ensuring they feel confident, prepared, and ready for the next stage of their learning journey. Mrs Gadaleta is responsible for our school Strategic Direction 1 in literacy and numeracy.
Mrs Nicole White - Assistant Principal
As our Assistant Principal Curriculum and Instruction, Mrs White drives high-quality teaching and learning across the school, ensuring all students have access to engaging and rigorous educational experiences. She collaborates with teachers to implement innovative curriculum practices and support continuous professional growth, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement.
