Learning From Home

Learning from Home - Level 3 Plus

Oatley Public School is currently operating in Level 3 Plus.

Students will return to face-to-face learning with NSW Health-approved COVID safe settings on school sites in the following order as announced by the Premier on Thursday 7 October:

  • Monday 18th October: department preschools, Kindergarten and Year 1
  • Monday 25th October: all remaining year groups.

Until then, students who are learning from home are expected to complete their tasks remotely using Google Classroom (3-6) or ClassDojo (K-2) during this time. Students are also expected to attend their class scheduled Zoom session (see Video Conferencing Protocols below for rules and instructions).

If your child cannot participate in flexible learning (either remotely at home or school if you are the child of an essential worker), please inform your child's class teacher by completing a formal absence form on School Stream. Otherwise, they'll be marked as absent.

Click here if you have trouble logging onto Google Classroom at home. If your child does not remember their Department of Education username or password, contact your child's classroom teacher via ClassDojo.
