NSW Department of Education has devised Guidelines for Families supporting transitioning to school:
Oatley Public school is returning to full on-campus learning from Monday 25 May. All school activities and operations will be with the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) and NSW Health guidelines.
All teaching and learning will be provided by explicit instruction by the teachers at school, therefore the school will not be operating a dual Learning from Home platform. If students are not returning to school due to ongoing medical conditions Learning Packages can be accessed, with new learning experiences being released weekly.
Remember the learning programs provided by the class teacher is the priority learning for your child.
Attendance Guidelines
All students should be at school unless:
- They have a medical certificate which states that they are unable to return to school due to an ongoing medical condition
- They are currently unwell
In such cases parents are to use the School Stream App to inform the class teacher by completing the absence form and provide the teacher a medical certificate.
