Oatley parents are invited to take part in the life of the school and there are many opportunities to do so.

- Parent help with class excursions, reading, math and technology groups.
- Open days such as Education Week.
- Events like the Fine Wine and Food Show, Spring Fair, social nights and barbecues.
- School Band and Library support.
- Canteen and Uniform shop assistance.

When helping in class
As part of Oatley Public School’s emergency plan, all visitors are requested to sign in and out of the Visitor’s Book and wear a visitor’s badge which can be found in the school office in the Administration Block and in the administration area situated on the north site.
